GreenPolicy360 New Pages

As we begin the new year, visit our GreenPolicy site for new pages — many good souls venturing forth to do good work. This week highlighted is Governor Jerry Brown, last week Pope Francis, and before the new pontiff was a focus on launching a Planet API which we are exploring in e-connections to ‘home.’

Over the past year plus, many new pages have touched on topics ranging from space to climate, ocean and wind patterns to social progress and new definitions of environmental — and national — security. As Planet Citizens growing a community of ‘green best practices‘ and database of green news and digital rights networking, #GreenPolicy360 is full of resources and a welcoming place to zip over to on the worldwide Net.

Doves Fly

A new era of exploration and monitoring of Earth is underway. Previously space travel was only funded with government projects, large-scale and oriented more to military and communications than earth science.

This is changing.

Today, “New Space” ventures and new Internet/digital technology are making the observation of Earth from space possible in educational, resource management and ‘mission critical’ ways.

Planet Labs is a model of a forward-looking New Space company and we have been highlighting its Dove satellites and new “Planet API” to demonstrate how green/eco/earth science is moving to new heights. The capabilities here enable Planet Citizens to act with knowledge and vision.

Take a look at first-generation Earth-from-space with micro- and cube-sats. Our present era is a nextgen beginning …
