Space Food

August 2015 arrived with the first 100% space-grown food for Astronauts — a red romaine lettuce variety called  “Outredgeous”.

The three Astronauts doused the leaves in extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar and with a hearty “cheers” they feasted with salad…

“That’s awesome,” remarked Astronaut Lindgren on his first bite.

“Tastes good,” added Astro Kelly.

“I like that,” said Astro Yui.
